                          Project Development Story<\/b><\/h3>\n

                          Over the course of two years, our network met across Europe to co-create the European Self-Advocates<\/i> curriculum. The first meetings took place in Budapest (Hungary)<\/b> – hosted by Rejtett Kincsek Down Egyes\u00fclet<\/b> – and in Marseille (France)<\/b> – hosted by TCAP21 (Trisomie 21 France)<\/b> – where partners worked together to design the lessons and develop the teaching methodology.<\/p>\n

                          A third meeting was held in Madrid (Spain)<\/b>, hosted by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos<\/b>, where self-advocate teaching pairs received their training before returning to their home countries to pilot the four lessons. In total, around 130 self-advocates<\/b> took part in the trainings across Europe, helping to refine the activities and materials.<\/p>\n

                          Finally, in Brussels in 2025<\/b>, all partners and self-advocates reunited to share results, reflect on their national experiences, and improve the final version of the programme.<\/p>\n

                          These lessons are the result of this shared effort – written, tested, and refined together<\/b> by self-advocates, educators, and organisations across Europe.<\/p>\n\t
