A professional fashion show featuring models with disabilities - including people with Down Syndrome. The main idea of the gala was to showcase the beauty of people with disabilities as well as making a point with the fashion industry.
Inclusion is not only about passively participating in cultural events, but also about actively creating them. Presenting art performed by people with disabilities, including people with Down Syndrome, auctioning them during cultural events such as a professional fashion show, is a great step in showing the contribution of these people to art and culture. Furthermore, breaking stereotypes by inviting people with disabilities as models to present the new collections at a fashion show is an expression of the full inclusion of these people in creating the way beauty is defined and exuded.
