The Extraordinary Brigades

The Extraordinary Brigade is a collective of inclusive restaurants (notably Le Reflet in Nantes and Paris, La Belle Etincelle in Paris, etc.) which employ people with mental or cognitive disabilities, and particularly waiters with Down Syndrome. The main objective is to de-compartmentalise the employment of these people by creating a meeting with customers and society - in short having waiters with Trisomy 21 is an opportunity for everyone. They allow you to spend a delicious moment, served by their diligent team members, proud to serve, offering their biggest smiles. Such places of inclusion, located in the heart of Paris, provide opportunities for everyone involved - a chance for people with Trisomy 21 to have a normal job and interact in a professional setting - and everyone else gets the chance to understand life with Trisomy 21 better.
