Sporočilo za javnost: Osredotočite se na 21. marec 2021. Praznujmo svetovni dan Downovega sindroma v Evropi!

Naslednja izdaja svetovnega dne Downovega sindroma (21st marca, kot je določil United Nation), zahteva poseben zagon, saj se zgodi leta 2021, Downov sindrom pa je medicinsko znan kot trisomija 21!

V tem pogledu se je skupnost staršev otrok z Downovim sindromom iz vse Evrope združila pod oznako EUfortrisomy21. Zahvaljujoč skupini staršev, ki je začela s pripravami, je v oznaki EUfortrisomy21 že zastopanih 16 držav, ki dajejo evropsko dimenzijo praznovanjem dneva downovega sindroma.

Kaj jih povezuje: njihova odločnost, da bodo leto 2021 posvetili ljudem z Downovim sindromom; leto, da jih počasti in jim dodeli svoje mesto v evropski družbi.

Za 21st marca bodo za praznovanje tega datuma na evropski ravni predlagani trije projekti. V mesecu februarju bomo sporočili podrobnosti teh projektov: projekt za veselje, projekt za razmislek in projekt za ukrepanje.
