Pressiteade: keskenduge 21. märtsile 2021. Tähistame Euroopas ülemaailmset Downi sündroomi päeva!

19. veebruar 2021

Maailma Downi sündroomi päeva järgmine väljaanne (21st märtsil ÜRO otsuse kohaselt) nõuab erilist hoogu, kuna see leiab aset 2021. aastal ja Downi sündroomi nimetatakse meditsiiniliselt trisoomiaks 21!

Sellest vaatenurgast koondas kogu Euroopa Downi sündroomiga laste vanemate kogukond EUfortrisomy21 märgise alla. Tänu ettevalmistusi alustanud lapsevanemate rühmale on EUfortrisomy21 märgises juba esindatud 16 riiki, mis annab ülemaailmse Downi sündroomi päeva tähistamisele Euroopa mõõtme.

Mis seob neid: nende otsustavus muuta 2021. aasta Downi sündroomiga inimestele pühendatud aastaks; aasta, et neid austada, anda neile õigustatud koht Euroopa ühiskonnas.

21 jaoksst märtsil esitatakse kolm projekti selle kuupäeva tähistamiseks Euroopa tasandil. Nende projektide üksikasjad tehakse teatavaks veebruarikuu jooksul: projekt rõõmustamiseks, projekt peegeldamiseks ja projekt tegutsemiseks.
