Sylvie Brunet
FRANCE - Renew Europe Group
I am Vice President of the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament and a member of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee (EMPL) where I am vice-coordinator for my group. I am also a member of the delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (DMED), a substitute member of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM), and a member of the Presidency of the European Democratic Party (EDP). In my activities at the European Parliament, I support a more social, inclusive and solidarity-based Europe, in particular through the introduction of a minimum wage in each Member State of the Union, the portability of mobile workers' rights, or the improvement of working conditions and social rights of platform workers. I am also deeply committed to a Europe that actively promotes women's rights. In view of the digital and environmental transitions in our societies, I pay particular attention to new ways of organizing work, to training and employment of young people, as well as to the support for vulnerable people.
