Eu for trisomy 21 in collaboration with European civil society organisations has created a sponsorship platform to celebrate this event. This platform facilitates the contact of Members of the European Parliament with people with Down syndrome and parents of children with Down syndrome.

I am a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and I want to participate in the next World Down Syndrome day celebration.

EU for Trisomy 21 takes part in the citizen consultation for the Future of Europe

Following the online conference on the 8th of July 2021 on improving the visibility of people with Down syndrome, EU for Trisomy 21 is willing to contribute to the online debates of the citizen consultation on the “Future of Europe” (COFUE ) on this relevant topic.

Expert-parents, a person with Down’s syndrome, and MEPs (Ms. Estrella Dura (S&D), Ms. Katrin Langensiepen (Greens), Ms. Radka Maxova (Renew), Mr. François-Xavier Bellamy (PPE), Mr. Patrick Jaki (ECR)) will speak about major issues for people with Down’s syndrome: visibility, autonomy, inclusion, non-discrimination and dignity.
