Thank you to Ms. Von der Leyen and to the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs)
who are involved in this campaign.
For a whole week, thousands of citizens and families all over Europe are spreading the challenge « Dancing for the 21st of March » that was launched on social media by the association Tombée du nid, our partner in France.
Everybody is invited to join the mobilization until the 21st of March

On a different project, european political leaders are showing their willingness to celebrate this date by sponsoring a young person with Down’s syndrome. 123 MEPs have answered positively to the proposition to meet (often virtually) one young person with Down’s syndrome and/or its parents from their country, becoming then a “Trsisomy 21 supporter”. Ms. von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, is participating and supports the initiative.
EUfortrisomy21 is a community of parents of children with Down syndrome,
united to advance the rights of people with Down syndrome in 4 priority areas:
visibility, non-discrimination, health, autonomy
