On March 21st, Europe is honouring persons with Down’s syndrome :  citizens and political leaders are invited to celebrate the International Day of Trisomy 21 

Thank you to Ms. Von der Leyen and to the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs)

who are involved in this campaign.

 For a whole week, thousands of citizens and families all over Europe are spreading the challenge « Dancing for the 21st of March »

Everybody is invited to join the mobilization until the 21st of March

On a different project, european political leaders are showing their willingness to celebrate this date by sponsoring a young person with Down’s syndrome. 123 MEPs have answered positively to the proposition to meet (often virtually) one young person with Down’s syndrome and/or its parents from their country, becoming then a “Trsisomy 21 supporter”. Ms. von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, is participating and supports the initiative.

 

EUfortrisomy21 is a community of parents of children with Down syndrome,
united to advance the rights of people with Down syndrome in 4 priority areas:
visibility, non-discrimination, health, autonomy
