Međunarodni dan prava osoba s invaliditetom

Dana 3rd prosinca 2021., Međunarodni dan prava osoba s invaliditetom, EU za trisomiju 21 slavila je prava osoba s Downovim sindromom. Tijekom ovog važnog datuma, članovi Europskog parlamenta postavili su neka politička pitanja osobama s Downovim sindromom iz cijele Europe.

Ovom kampanjom osnažujemo osobe s trisomijom 21 da dignu svoj glas i govore o svojim političkim stavovima o različitim temama. Osobe s trisomijom 21 građani su s punim demokratskim pravima i kao takvi njihov uvid ne samo da je bitan, već je i vitalan za puni diskurs civilnog društva koji bi ih Europski parlament trebao poslušati. Demokratske institucije još nisu spremne saslušati osobe s trisomijom 21, ali bi trebale početi raditi na prilagodbi kako bi svaki europski građanin mogao sudjelovati u europskoj demokraciji.

Različite teme obradile su osobe s Downovim sindromom:

Hvala Radki Maxova, Brandu Benifeiju, Dragosu Pislaru, Katrin Langensiepen i Rosi Estaras Ferragut, zastupnicima u Europskom parlamentu koji su podržali našu kampanju u korist vidljivosti osoba s Downovim sindromom na ovaj važan međunarodni dan prava osoba s invaliditetom. .
